PLUMBLEE, REESE posted by Robert Reese on Thursday, March 18, 1999

I am working on brothers William & Thomas REESE who immigrated to the Umatilla County area sometime after the Civil War from Buncombe County NC. Their father was William REESE married to Margaret Caroline PLUMBLEE. They would have both died sometime after 1928. William was a medical doctor and I believe was also a drummer boy in the Confederate army. He lived in Milton, Oregon in the 1920s. His brother Thomas was a professor in a college somewhere in the area (Idaho?). I have an address of Wapah Washington in 1928 for him but have not been able to locate any such place. If anyone has information about them or their families, I would be most grateful. Willing to share all data I have about their ancestors in NC. Thanks for your help!
