DALY - TUCKER, JOHN The Daly's started for Oregon by wagon train but on the way their wagon burned. Instead of coming to Oregon they went to New Mexico. The Daly's later started for Oregon with "Tucker wagon train". John Tucker married Daly's daughter. Tucker Creek is named for family. Daly living in California (a brother) wrote a "History of New Mexico'. Daly City, California named for him. Living descendants in Baker County are:

  • BORTON, FLORENCE (deceased)
  • EDWARDS, HERRING, ADELIA (Pioneer Queen Baker Co. Historical)
  • Tucker, Earl (cousin of Mrs. Adelia Edwards) only Tucker living.
