CRANSTON, EDWARD P. Married Anna Bowen. In 1862 he came to Auburn from Marion County home of his parents. In 1871 he became associated with I. B. Bowen and Wm. H. Packwood. More about business activities in book "Thirty-One Years in Baker County." Ann Bowen's marriage to E. P. Cranston took place in Idaho. She was the first white woman married in Idaho. Their wedding rings were of hand-hammered gold from the Virtue mine. Living descendants in Baker County are:
